Cargo Securement Guide
Basic Items
Boxes & Cartons
- Stack heaviest on bottom.
- Keep weight balanced side-to-side.
- Use straps if needed.
Furniture
- Wrap in moving blankets.
- Secure with straps or rope.
- Position upright unless manufacturer specifies otherwise.
Appliances
- Keep upright to avoid fluid leaks.
- Strap to vehicle walls if possible.
- Pad corners to prevent scratches.
Intermediate Items
Large Mirrors & Glass
- Use A-frame or soft padding.
- Secure with corner protectors and straps.
- Keep upright, avoid stacking.
Electronics
- Original boxes if possible.
- Use bubble wrap or foam inserts.
- Keep away from heavy items.
Mattresses & Bedding
- Fold or roll carefully for transport.
- Use protective covers.
- Secure to prevent sliding.

Motorcycles & Scooters

- Strap frame to anchor points, not suspension.
